OUR FAVORITE BRUSH CLEANERS!

We love this brush cleaner for several reasons. Not only is it a great cleaner, but it does an amazing job of preserving and protecting paint brushes. It can also be used to fix brushes that are bent out of shape, which we'll get into later on in this post! Now, that you have an overview of this wonderful cleaner, let's get into it! All you'll need to get started are dirty brushes, The Masters Brush Cleaner, and a sink or a cup of clean water.

HOW TO USE THE MASTERS BRUSH CLEANER!

Wipe most of the excess paint off of your brushes with a rag or paper towel.
Rinse your brush off at a sink or using a cup of clean water.
Swirl your brush around on the cleaner puck. Then gently work the cleaner into the brush with your hands.
Rinse and repeat until the water coming off of your brush is completely clear.
To keep your brushes in tip-top shape, either lay them flat to dry or hang them upside down with a clip from their handle until they are completely dry. This will protect the glue that holds in the hairs from degrading over time.

OUR FAVORITE CLEANER FOR GETTING DRIED ACRYLIC PAINT OUT OF BRUSHES!

This cleaner is absolutely amazing! It is a household staple to be sure. It can do all sorts of amazing things, so if you purchase it for your paintbrushes, you'll be able to use it as a multipurpose cleaner as well! We love it because it breaks down dried paint with ease. That's not the end of it, though, this cleaner is also amazing at getting dry paint out of clothes. Learn more about that here! Take a look at the simple process below.

HOW TO USE MURPHY OIL SOAP.

Get out your Murphy Oil Soap and a brush with paint dried onto it!
Pour enough soap into a cup to fully submerge the hair on your brush.
Soak your brush in the soap. We recommend soaking brushes overnight to really break everything down.
Take the brush out of the soap and wet the brush at a sink or in a clean cup of water. Take your fingers and work the soap through the hairs. You may need to use your fingernail to get out some of the bigger chunks of paint, but it should come off fairly easily!
Rinse your brush out with water thoroughly, at this point your brush should be back to its old fluffy self!

Is one of your favorite brushes a little bent out of shape? We have a super easy solution! Grab The Masters Brush Cleaner, a cup of water or a sink, and your bent-up brush. Let's fix it!

Wet your brush.
Gently rub your brush in the cleaner. Swipe it in the direction you would like all of the hair to lay.
Pull it out of the cleaner and use your fingertips to comb the brush hairs in the direction you want them to go. All of the hair should stay flat in the direction you pushed them when you let go. If the brush hairs don't stay, you'll need to add more of the cleaner and keep combing with your fingers.
Once your brush looks right again, set it aside to dry overnight.
Once it's completely dry, go ahead and rinse it one last time. Your brush should be ready for use again!
