SEALING MOSAICSIf you'll be putting your mosaic artwork outside or putting food items directly on it, you'll want to seal your mosaic to protect it from moisture and to avoid staining.
Step 1: Simply use the provided paintbrush to brush the sealant all over your mosaic, including the front, sides, and back. One coat will be plenty. Step 2: Wipe off your tiles with a napkin, paper towel, or rag to regain their shine. Step 3: Rinse your brush out thoroughly so it will be ready for your next project! Give your mosaic sealant 24 hours to fully cure before placing the item outside. Reapply every 6 months if your project will be directly exposed to weather. See cautions to the right. |
SEALING WOOD PROJECTSIf your project has an uneven sheen (areas of shine and areas that are dull), give it another coat to help even out the sheen. Rinse your brush thoroughly with soap and water so it will be ready for your next project! Wait 24 hours for the sealant to fully cure before placing your artwork outside.
