This image is a blast to paint, and you are going to have a wonderful time creating your masterpiece! In the following video, Laura shares some basic tips and techniques for you to know before you get started!

Be sure to take care of your brushes. When you're not using them, rinse them out in a cup of water and dry them on a paper towel or rag to ensure that they don't dry out. This paint does not come out if it dries completely.
If you're enjoying a beverage while you paint, be sure to put your rinsing cup away from your drinking cup! Sticking a brush into a mug full of freshly brewed coffee is a tragedy we have experienced all too often!
Acrylic paint covers mistakes, so there's no need to stress! If you do something that you don't love, just let it dry and paint right over it! If you're impatient like we are, you can use a hair dry to speed up the drying process.
Remember that every painting has an awkward stage. If your painting is looking strange about halfway through, it is probably right on track. Finish the steps, and you'll be relieved that you didn't give up when it started to look off. It just wasn't finished yet!
